Pulled this one together for Halloween last year and it ended up being one of my most-hooped designs of the season. The ghost is sitting right inside the pumpkin like its making itself at home, witch hat on top, lil aqua collar round its neck, round hollow eyes staring straight at you. Its kinda the perfect amount of spooky without being scary at all.

And six colours sounds alot but Wilcom EmbroideryStudio laid the underlay down in the right order so theres no registration mess. The orange pumpkin body uses directional satin fill to give it that round carved look, and the grey witch hat has tighter density so it reads sharp even at the 3-inch size. I get messages about this one every October, mostly from people putting it on trick-or-treat bags and costume pockets for their kids.

Three sizes from 3 to 5 inch, anywhere from 6,991 up to 14,049 stitches depending which hoop you run. Use cutaway stabiliser here, especially on stretchy fabrics. The white ghost body needs a solid base or the orange and grey colours bleed into each other through the weave. Skip tearaway on anything with any give to it.

Stitch it on a kids Halloween bag, pop it on a costume pocket, run it on a fall throw pillow or a kitchen towel for October. Works on fleece, felt, canvas, denim. Basically anything you can hoop and stabilise properly.

Hit me up if you run into any file issues and Ill sort it.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
