The web is the star here. Its not tucked in a corner like most halloween webs, its the central structure the whole composition hangs off. A solid cartoon web radiates from the centre with two round-bodied ghosts in soft pink drifting off the upper corners, a classic grinning jack-o-lantern pumpkin in warm orange suspended from a lower strand, a small black bat near the top, and a tiny solid spider dropping from the bottom. 3 colours: black, pink, orange. Easy stops.

Five sizes, 3.50" wide at smallest up to 7.50" wide at the biggest. Stitch counts run from 10,265 to 21,435. 3 colours means 2 thread changes, which is still a fast run. Density at 456 gives the web its structure without making it stiff, and the satin on the ghost fill is directional so it catches light differently to the matte pumpkin fill. The file was built in Wilcom so the colour stops are clean and the registration between the pink and orange sections is tight.

Run this on a white or light grey cotton tee and the 3 colours pop properly. Back with a cutaway on knit fabrics. The web open sections dont need a topping on smooth cotton but if youre running it on fleece, pop a light wash-away topping over the web area so the arc lines stitch clean.

I had a customer with a kids boutique order 25 of the 5-inch version on oatmeal long-sleeve tees for a halloween drop last october and she said they sold out in 4 days. That pastel-and-warm colour combo is what made them feel a bit different from the usual all-black halloween merch on the market.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Kids halloween t-shirts and long-sleeve teesThe 5-inch size centres perfectly on a size 4T long-sleeve tee front with room to spare on both sides.
  • Baby onesies and toddler sleepwearThe 3.5-inch version on a newborn onesie in white 100% cotton uses the orange and pink beautifully.
  • Halloween tote bags for classroom trick-or-treatOn a natural canvas lunch bag the web fills the front panel nicely at 6 inches wide.
  • Girls halloween sweatshirts and hoodiesStitch at the 5-inch size on a pale grey hoodie front for a girls halloween outfit that isnt all dark.
  • Baby shower gifts for October babiesA hooped pink or mint onesie at 3.5 inches makes a cute October baby shower gift for a new mum.
  • Halloween costume accessories like capes and bagsThe 4-inch version on a cape back panel sits well when sewn to a simple felt halloween costume.
  • Childrens boutique seasonal stock itemsThe 7.5-inch largest size on a tote front makes a strong seasonal boutique display piece.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
