Its a ginger and white cat done in that portrait style where the fur actually looks like fur, not just a flat shape filled in. The colouring splits naturally between the warm burnt orange patches and the cream white chest, and the digitising handles the transition zones with short directional satin runs that follow the way a cats coat grows. Five colours total at density 533, so its rich enough to hold detail without feeling stiff on the fabric.

And the stitch range is worth knowing. Smallest size sits at 9,079 stitches across 3.33 inches, the largest goes up to 28,489 stitches at 7.13 inches wide. I tried a 5-inch run on a medium-weight cotton tote last spring and a customer came back saying it was the cleanest cat piece shed stitched in years. That made my week honestly. Pop a sturdy cutaway stabiliser under your fabric before hooping, especially if youre going on knit or fleece where the underlay needs something solid to anchor into.

Use the smaller sizes on shirt pockets or bag corners where you want something subtle but still detailed. Skip light-coloured topping on woven linen since the density is moderate enough to sit flat without it. Add the 7-inch size to a denim jacket back panel if you want it to fill the space properly. Stitch order runs background to highlight which means colour changes are logical and wont catch you off guard mid-run.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
