Its a cartoon giraffe face and its got that specific kawaii quality where the eyes are way too big for the head but thats exactly the point. Thick black lash lines curve outward from those round eyes, the brows are small arched lines that give it a slightly suprised expression, and the smile is wide and open -- not a closed smirk, genuinely happy-looking. The ossicones sit on top like two tiny lollipop sticks with little tufts at the end.
4 colours: orange for the base coat on the muzzle and ear fill, white for the highlight areas around the face, chocolate brown for those irregular spots across the forehead and neck, and black for the outlines, lashes, and eye detail. The spots are satin-filled irregular blobs, digitised in Wilcom EmbroideryStudio with each spot getting its own underlay pass so they dont sink into the warm satin beneath them. Density at 539 is comfortable on medium-weight cotton without getting stiff.
customers keep asking about this one for kids clothing and I completely understand why. The 3.51-inch size works really well on a pastel yellow onesie where the orange and brown sit warm against the background. One customer ordered the 5.87-inch tall file for a nursery wall hoop and said it was exactly what they needed to fill the space. Hoop with cutaway stabiliser on baby items -- you want the backing to hold through repeated washing.
Pick a light or pastel background fabric and the warm colour palette just sings. Skip dark fabrics -- the orange base disappears and youre left with just the outlines. Tearaway works fine on woven cotton at the smaller sizes but go cutaway for anything over 4 inches tall to keep the lash detail crisp.
