Heres the girl balloons design and its built for first birthdays. Five floating balloons up top, purple, teal, cherry red, leaf green and mustard yellow, each one drifting on its own thin black string. Underneath sits the word GIRL in big puffy pink balloon letters with scalloped edges so the letters look like foil party balloons themselves.

The pink lettering uses directional stitching so you get a soft sheen across each letter instead of a flat patch. Balloons are solid fills with light shading, no fussy gradients, which keeps the colour count locked at 7. Strings are fine running stitch lines so they sit on cotton or canvas without looking rope-thick.

I drew this one for first birthday onesies and gender reveal merch. Last spring a customer ordered 30 of them stitched on cream canvas tote bags for a baby sister party and the puffy letters carried beautifully against the natural fabric. People keep coming back for sibling gifts.

Stitch on white, soft pink, mint or cream so the GIRL letters pop and the balloons stay readable. Skip dark navy or black, the pink fill loses contrast and your balloons fight the background. Pop a 4 inch version on a baby onesie chest or run the 5x7 size for a toddler tee.

Smallest version sits around 4k stitches so its gentle on jersey knits, biggest hits 24k for tote bags and pillow covers. Use a medium tearaway on woven cotton, switch to a soft cutaway stabiliser on stretchy fabric so the lettering dont distort once youve hooped it.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • First birthday onesies and tees for baby girlsSmallest size at 4k stitches sits just right on a baby onesie chest, soft enough for skin contact.
  • Gender reveal party banners and pillow coversStitch big on a fabric banner panel, the puffy GIRL letters work well repeated as bunting flags.
  • Big sister announcement shirtsSized on a toddler tee chest, the word GIRL holds clear and the balloons fit the shoulder space.
  • Birthday party tote bag favoursOn small canvas favour totes, a 4 inch placement fits sweet treats and a personal name tag.
  • Photo session prop hoops and backdropsIn a 12 inch wood hoop the design becomes a photo prop, balloons read clear from camera distance.
  • Cake smash bibs and burp clothsSized small at 3 inch for a cotton bib, low stitch count keeps the fabric soft for baby use.
  • Birthday card framed hoop giftsInside a 10 inch hoop the design works as a keepsake, easy to gift wrapped or hand-delivered.
  • Sleepover and slumber party pajama bagsOn a small drawstring sleepover bag, the bright colours feel right at home with party packing.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
