Customers kept asking for a cute kawaii girl doll figure that wasnt too babyish but wasnt too grown-up either, and this design sits right in that gap. One customer grabbed the file for a set of christmas gifts for her daughters class, which I thought was a really sweet idea. Shes mid-spin, dress flying out, big eyes, pink bow in her hair. Nineteen colour changes and 14 thread shades, but most of those are short accent runs so it doesnt feel like it drags at the machine.
Tape a medium to heavy cutaway stabiliser behind your fabric before you hoop it. The smallest size has about 22,000 stitches, and with that many direction changes in the skirt panels you need a really solid base or youll get shifting and puckering mid-run. Use a topping over any textured fabric so the face detail stitches dont sink into the weave. Seven sizes starting at 5.5 inches up to 8.5 wide, all larger formats because the facial detail cant compress any smaller without losing the character. Wilcom EmbroideryStudio gave me precise control over the face rendering so the eye and lash detail holds at every size in the range.
Stitch it on white or cream and the golden-orange dress absolutely pops. Try it on blush pink fabric if you want that really coordinated look, or put it on dark navy where the teal aqua trim reads cleanly against the background.
Email me if you run into any issues with the file after download and Ill get it sorted for you.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
