This one shows a girl bending down to kiss the top of her cats head, and the tabby is just sitting there accepting it. You know that moment -- thats exactly what this design captures. The pose is relaxed, the girl is leaning in properly, and that slightly tolerant look on the cats face is perfect. Three colours total: warm skin tones, a soft tabby-grey, and a dusty rose for her top.

Sizes run from 3.51 by 2.84 inches up to 7.51 by 6.07 inches across 9 options, so you can hoop it on a pocket or go big on a tote. Stitch counts move from 12,007 at the smallest to 24,752 on the largest. Built in Wilcom so the satin density on the fur sits at 543, which keeps it soft and not boardy when its off the hoop.

Use a medium cutaway stabiliser under knits and fleece -- the figure stitching can pull on stretchy fabric if you skimp on the backer. Add a tearaway on a firm woven canvas tote and youre good to go. Stitch a 7-inch run on a zip-up hoodie front panel for a solid pet-lover statement piece. A customer last spring did exactly that and it came out realy nicely -- she said the tabby shading looked almost painted. Hoop everything flat and dont rush the colour changes on this one. Holler if you run into sizing issues and Ill sort a replacement file out for you.

Behind every stitch

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
