The girl has golden blonde pigtails and shes sitting on a round wooden swing, leaning her chin on one hand in that dreamy sideways way little kids do on a slow swing. Lavender polka-dot dress, white and lilac striped knee socks, little feet tucked up. The rope goes all the way to the top of the design. On the grass below, her little tan puppy sits up straight looking right at her with its head tilted, two dark button eyes wide open. Its really realy sweet.
19 colours handle all the subtle stuff, the skin tone, the golden hair shading, the rope texture, the grass tufts. The digitising on the hair is directional so the highlights read as actual volume rather than a flat yellow block. Wilcom pulled clean satin fills on the tiny sock stripes, which at 3.5 inches is genuinely impressive stitching without gaps or bleed. 39k stitches on the 7-in top, comfortable density for woven cotton or linen.
I get messages from mums buying this specifically for their daughters bedroom. My niece asked me to do something with a girl and a dog together last summer and this design was what came out of that. Email me if you want the puppy breed changed for a custom version. Works really well as a birth announcement hoop if you add the babys name below in chain stitch.
Stitch on cream or white cotton or a pale pink fabric for the best look. The lavender dress gets lost on any purple ground so keep the base light. Use a cutaway stabiliser underneath, 19 colours means alot of thread changes and density builds up in the dress area so you need good backing support. Dont skip the topping on terry or fleece or the fine sock stripes sink and blur. Email me a quick note if the file gives any trouble and Ill sort it out.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
