Glossy red lips -- and I mean actually glossy, not just red satin. Theres 6 colours in the build: a deep burgundy base at the edges, a mid-tone cherry red across the body of the lips, a bright crimson on the high points, and then a small cream or white highlight stripe right across the centre of the top lip. Thats the bit that sells it. At density 938 the satin layers are dense enough to blend one shade into the next, which is exactly how Wilcom mapped the colour stops.
Stitch counts go from 8749 at 1.93 inches wide -- which is really lil, almost jewellery scale -- up to 28940 at 4.11 inches wide and 7.51 inches tall. So its a portrait-format design, taller than wide, which suits bag pockets, shirt fronts, or the side panel of a tote. Hoop any stretchy fabric with a firm cutaway stabiliser and go slow on the satin sections -- density this high on jersey knits can cause puckering if the hooping isnt tight.
Message me if theres issues and Ill sort it straight away. A customer last month was stitching the 4-inch on a black canvas clutch and asked if she needed a topping -- on canvas the answer is no, the weave is tight enough. On velvet or thick fleece though, a dissolving topping film keeps the satin from sinking into the pile.
Pair this with white, black, or cream fabric for the sharpest contrast. It reads as a love and romance motif but also works year-round on fashion items -- beauty brands and makeup artists tend to grab this one for aprons, tote bags, and staff uniforms.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Canvas clutch bags and evening pursesRun the 4-inch on a black canvas clutch -- no topping needed, the satin layers sit clean on tight weave.
- Makeup artist aprons and salon uniformsA makeup artist apron with the 4-inch in the chest pocket area looks incredibly professional.
- Black denim jackets and fashion topsThe 3-inch on the back collar of a black denim jacket is a real statement without being too large.
- Valentine's Day tote bagsStitch the 4-inch onto a white cotton tote for a clean love-and-lipstick aesthetic for february markets.
- Beauty brand staff accessoriesLogo-style use on staff totes or aprons works well -- the 6-colour build looks very polished at full size.
- Cosmetics pouches and brush rollsThe 2-inch fits a cosmetics pouch front with room for a zip pull -- great for gift sets.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
