Mocked this one up thinking about jewellery and metalwork references rather than traditional textile patterns. Its all done in a single gold thread and the whole look depends on the outline work, not filled satin blocks. The outermost layer has wide pointed petals with a fine outline border, then inside those sit a ring of narrower teardrop petals, and at the centre a tight lotus with small seed-pod accents dotted around the ring. Small bead-like dots scatter between the outer petal tips. Theres real elegance to the structure without any colour contrast doing the heavy lifting.
One colour only, an amber gold. All the dimensionality comes from the density of the outline layers and the directional stitching in the centre fill. Stitch count runs from 18,109 at the smallest 3.5 inch size up to 38,409 at 7.5 inches. Density 683, which is fairly high for outline-focused work, so run a cutaway stabiliser from the 5 inch size upward. At the two smallest sizes tearaway on stable cotton works, but its worth using cutaway all round for cleanest results. Slow the machine to about 600 spm on the dense centre section.
This works especially well on dark fabric. Ive stitched it on navy, forest green, and black canvas and the gold really shows against all three. My sister asked me to put it on a black velvet evening bag last autumn and it came out looking proper expensive. Skip white and cream fabric for this one, it washes out. Avoid applying a topping on velvet, press lightly with a cloth and pull tearaway carefully so the velvet fibres dont catch.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
