Three lines of mixed-weight lettering stacked into a tidy rectangle: 'Good Moms' at the top in chunky block caps, 'Say' bridging the gap in a thinner weight, and 'Bad Words' hitting at the bottom in a fat bold slab. Single thread colour, so its clean on cotton, canvas, whatever you pick. And yes, it says exactly what it says.

Its a 1-colour design which honestly makes it easier to run than most word art on the market. No thread changes, no colour matching. Stitch count sits between 14,770 and 31,009 depending on which of the 5 sizes you go with, which Ive found is about right for a cotton tee without puckering. Wilcom digitised the lettering so the slab letter fills come out tight and sharp.

My mum asked me last mothers day if I had anything funny she could put on an apron. I sent her this design. She laughed out loud and ordered it for three of her friends aswell. Its the sort of quote people spot on someones apron at a barbecue and immediately want to know where it came from.

Run it on a black or white cotton apron and youre done. Drop the 5 inch run onto a canvas tote for a gift bag that actually gets used. Use the smaller sizes on a mug mat or patch if your recipient is the more reserved type. Avoid stretchy jersey on the bigger sizes, the slab letters dont love movement fabric.

Hoop a stabiliser underneath and keep your tension even across the letter fills. Skip light-coloured thread on dark fabric here because its a single colour and the contrast is the whole joke. Holler at me through the shop if you get any stitch breaks on the fine linking lines between letters and Ill sort it out for you.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
