The words curve around the outside of a big daisy, the way old concert posters used to lay text around a central image. Good Vibes arcs across the top in chunky fat-slab letters, Only sits along the bottom, same weight, and the daisy fills the space in between. Not a thin outline flower, this one has actual petal depth, directional stitching on each petal in lavender and deeper purple, radiating out from a solid marigold yellow centre button.
4 colours total: 2 shades of purple for the petals, yellow for the centre, black for the outer outline and the text block. The contrast is what makes it work on almost any fabric, the black outline is thick enough to read from 10 feet. Wilcom ran clean satin columns on the letter sections, no pull distortion on the curves. I get messages all the time asking if the text is still legible on the small size, yes at 3.51 inches across the lettering holds fine.
Back in june a customer ordered this for a batch of linen tote bags she was selling at a farmers market stall. She picked the 5-inch size on natural linen and said it sold out in the first hour. Im not suprised, this one has that instant recognisable vibe where people know what it means without reading it twice. The satin density on those text sections is quite forgiving aswell, you dont need topping on most stable wovens.
Works on denim, canvas, twill, and cotton. Run cutaway stabiliser under denim so the underlay doesnt shift on the hooped piece. Skip running it on anything too stretchy at the larger sizes, 44k stitches on jersey without proper stabilising and youll get puckering around the fills. Best thread colour for the bobbin is a mid-grey so theres nothing weird showing on the back of light fabric.
