Pulled this one together for the grandmas who live and breathe every single game. Its a softball done in full satin fill, that warm pumpkin-orange colour you see on regulation softballs, with two arching lines of bright red cross-stitch seams running across it. Then right over the top of the ball, big bold brush-script reads Grandma in black. The lettering is chunky and confident, the kind of script that reads from across a bleacher row without squinting.
The three colours stack in a clean order. Machine lays down the orange fill first, then stops for the red seam lines, then comes the black script last. 3 colour changes, 23 trims on the smallest hoop, and Wilcom EmbroideryStudio digitising so the underlay is solid and the satin density holds even on thick fleece or a canvas tote. Smallest file is 8,224 stitches at about 2.5 inches wide, biggest is 20,011 stitches at just over 4.7 inches, so there's alot of flexibility for placement.
Pop it on a black hoodie and the orange and red really jump out against the dark ground. Works well on white tees too, the script reads clean on light fabric aswell. One customer wanted the 4-inch version for a set of matching bags for the whole grandma crew at a tournament and sent me a photo after, looked really sharp on natural canvas.
Use a cutaway stabiliser on any stretchy knit, tear-away works fine on woven cotton and canvas. Hoop the fabric good and tight, the satin fill on the ball needs even tension to sit flat without puckering. Skip dense ribbed knit, the directional stitches catch on the texture and look rough.
Holler if theres a sizing issue or the bobbin side looks loose, just message me and Ill sort out a replacement file same day.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
