This lil baby dragon came together after my niece kept asking me for something magical for her nursery. Cute green baby dragon, 14 colour thread palette, nine sizes ranging from 3.32 to 7.11 inches wide, and stitches from 17,501 at the smallest up to 44,839 at the largest. Wilcom EmbroideryStudio digitised the whole thing with a density of around 841 per square inch so its gentle enough for knit fabrics without pulling.
The back and wings use directional satin stitching that follows the scale pattern, so you get texture rather than a flat green patch. Belly is a softer tatami fill with underlay underneath. Hoop it on a good cutaway stabiliser -- those 14 colour changes mean the bobbin thread builds up faster than you'd expect, and tearaway just wont give you the support you need around the wing roots where density jumps a lil.
Works really well on white or cream cotton, pale grey fleece, or light mint jersey. Skip navy or dark green because the belly tones and the wing highlights just blend right in. Stitch it on a kids hoodie, a nursery cushion cover, or a toddler backpack and it holds its shape wash after wash. The 3.32 inch size pops nicely on a left chest without crowding the neckline.
People have been ordering this one for baby shower gifts alot lately -- a customer wrote me last month saying she stitched a bunch of them onto muslin swaddle blankets as gifts and they came out gorgeous. Ping me if you run into any colour matching questions and Ill walk you through it.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
