This works year-round, not just for Christmas. The colour mix of dark green, yellow and red is warm and botanical rather than obviously seasonal, so its equally at home on a late-autumn project as it is on a December gift. The wreath circle is almost completely closed, leaves and berries distributed evenly so theres no bare spot that looks like it ran out of elements. At 12,775 stitches max on the 7.39-inch version its genuinely a medium-weight stitch count for its size, which means the machine runs through it without straining.

Pair midweight cutaway with wovens and knits. The leaf satin uses a consistent short-angle fill which keeps the density down while still giving the glossy thread sheen you want on foliage. Avoid tearaway because the outer vine path curves enough that it can cause pull at the endpoints on thinner cotton. At 3 colour stops with 2 changes the machine barely pauses. Hoop your fabric at a consistent tension because the ring shape is particularly sensitive to diagonal drift if the stabiliser is loose.

Drop a 2 or 3 letter initial in the open centre in a matching thread and the whole thing looks custom without adding a separate step. Sizes run from 3.46 inches up to 7.39 inches wide so youve got everything from a pocket accent to a large pillow centrepiece. A customer who does personalised homewares told me shes been running the 6-inch version with a name stitched through the centre for wedding gifts, which is a genuinely nice use for it. Pick a 40-weight rayon for the berry clusters if you want the red to pop against the green leaves.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Monogram frames on personalised linen and cotton itemsTwo or three letter monogram inside the open centre in a 4th colour stop, one extra thread change makes it look fully custom.
  • Wreath placement on table napkins and placematsDinner napkin set with the 4-inch centred on each piece, the wreath fills the corner without crowding the hem fold.
  • Botanical gift bag embellishments in natural fabricsNatural linen gift bag or jute tote where the botanical palette is already at home on the neutral ground.
  • Year-round floral cushion cover centrepiecesLarge cushion at the 7-inch with a name or wedding date stitched through the centre, the customer who does wedding gifts loves this file.
  • Embroidered frames for names on baby itemsMuslin baby bib at chest size as a botanical accent, the open ring sits lightly on the bib face without stiffening it.
  • Autumn and Christmas wall hoop artSeven-inch hoop wall piece on linen, this hangs year-round because the green-red-yellow combination isnt only Christmas.
  • Centre panels on tote bags with personalised text insideCanvas tote centre panel with text added inside the ring in black thread, the wreath acts as a built-in frame.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
