Not a delicate six-pointed sketch. This snowflake is fully filled satin stitch in a single christmas green, each of the six arms splits into fern-style branches that come to clean sharp tips. The centre has a filigree scrollwork circle stitched inside it, and small round berry dot accents float around the outer points. At 7.5 inches this is a proper statement piece, the kind you centre on a tree skirt or a large cushion cover and let it carry the whole design.

All my digitising runs through Wilcom EmbroideryStudio and this one runs at density 645 at the full size. Thats dense. At 7.5 inches its 32,008 stitches. At the smallest 3.5 inch size its 14,798 stitches. Five sizes total from 3.5 to 7.5 inches wide. Hoop with a strong cutaway on every fabric you try it on, dont skip that step. Heavy satin fill at 645 density pulls hard on lighter fabrics and a tearaway wont hold everything flat.

My customers have been picking it up this christmas for home dec projects more than apparel. One customer ordered the 7 inch size and stitched it in dark emerald thread on a white linen table centrepiece cloth and the scrollwork centre realy reads beautifully at that scale. I love that use. Pick a dark forest green or emerald thread for maximum contrast on white or cream fabric. Skip anything pale coloured for the thread, the detail only reads when theres enough contrast.

Best on heavy cotton, linen, or canvas for the large sizes. Avoid thin cotton poplin for the 7 inch size, it doesnt have enough body to hold 32,000 stitches without puckering. Use the 3.5 inch size on sweatshirt fabric with cutaway stabiliser for a holiday gym bag or hoodie. Trim jump stitches neatly after hooping out, this design will have a few across those filigree scrollwork sections.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
