Dark green, single colour, no thread changes at all. Thats what makes this design so usable. A full christmas tree with layered branches built up from a wide base, tapering to a five-point star at the top. Under the lowest branches there are wrapped gift boxes piled up, rectangular shapes with ribbon bows sitting slightly off-center, which gives the whole thing a relaxed hand-drawn feel. The fill lines run in short diagonal scratches across the branches so when you stitch it out you get real texture, not flat colour.
Five sizes from 3.49 inches wide at 12k stitches up to 7.5 inches at 37k. Use a medium-weight cutaway underneath. Skip light tearaway on fleece or knit blanks, cutaway is the right call for this density. Stitch on cream, natural white, grey or navy fabric with dark green thread for the best read. And skip anything pale olive or sage coloured because the dark green will disappear into it.
One customer ordered this one specifically because she wanted a single-colour xmas design for a grey fleece throw she was making as a last-minute gift. Said it stitched out perfect first try. But its the gift boxes at the base that make it feel like a proper christmas scene rather than a generic winter tree. Hit me up if something doesnt download correctly and Ill sort it same day.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Christmas throw blankets and fleece wraps as seasonal giftsUse the 7-inch on a grey fleece throw, the gifts at the base make it read as a full Christmas scene
- Holiday tote bags for gift-giving or festive marketsPop the 4-inch on a canvas tote, dark green on tan sells well at winter craft fairs
- Christmas pillow covers on white or natural linenCentre on a white linen pillow cover, the hatched branch texture looks like vintage printed fabric
- Kids Christmas pyjama tops at the chest pocket positionHoop with cutaway on kids PJ tops, single colour means fast turnaround on a batch
- Festive tea towels and kitchen linens in holiday red or creamStitch the hem of red or cream tea towels, the gift boxes fill the border space naturally
- Personalised Christmas stockings on the front panelPlace vertically on a stocking blank, the tall tree proportions match the stocking shape well
- Holiday table runners with repeat placement along the centreRepeat the 3.5-inch at even gaps along a cream table runner for a simple border

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
