Its a full tree, proper canopy, kinda like a summer oak but the leaves are more maple-shaped. Every single leaf is its own separate satin-filled shape stitched individually, which is why the stitch count runs from 20,667 at 3.5 inches right up to 44,405 on the full 7.5-inch version. The trunk is a warm brown and the whole canopy is that really saturated lime green, which on white fabric looks realy vivid.
Two colour stops, one brown one green. Simple. The branches thread between the leaves so you can see the tree structure underneath, which gives it depth without needing alot of extra colours. I digitised the leaves with directional fills so they each catch light a little differently depending on the thread angle. On the bigger sizes that texture is genuinely nice.
Send me a note if you end up stitching this on linen because I love seeing how the green reads on natural fabric tones. A customer who does farmers market aprons used this as her signature back design last summer and came back in september for three more colour variations of the same tree. I been meaning to make a rust autumn version for a while now actually.
Use a medium-weight cutaway stabiliser for this one. There are alot of individual leaf shapes and they dont all sit flat without something firm underneath. On cotton the satin fills need a smooth underlay or the fabric puckers between shapes. Hoop tight, the 44k stitch version on a large hoop wants the fabric drum-tight or the registration between trunk and leaves goes off.
Pick a cream or white ground for maximum colour contrast, or go charcoal for a reverse silhouette look. Send me message if the file wont load and Ill get you a fresh copy.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
