The hair stylist heart uses a thick rope-like outline -- not the usual thin line, its more like a braided or coiled border with real visual weight. Inside sit three salon tool silhouettes in black: a wide-tooth comb leaning to the left, scissors open in the center, and a blow dryer with the cord dangling at the lower right. Two colors, black and white, with one color stop. The tools dont crowd each other, theres breathing room inside the outline so each one reads separately.
Five sizes from 3 inches up to 7 inches, so you can go from a small patch or cap badge up to an apron chest piece. Slip cutaway behind apron fabric or canvas totes -- the rope border is dense satin and needs firm backing to sit flat. On lighter woven shirt fabric a tearaway works fine. Keep the hoop tension even so the braided border lays flat across the whole shape. Stitch it on white or cream and the black thread gives you a clean graphic look. Pop it on a black apron and it reads even more dramatically -- the thick outline and the tool silhouettes both show clearly against dark fabric.
I get messages about this one a lot around graduation time in spring, and again at Christmas when people are shopping for their stylist. People stitch it on tote bags, aprons, even pouches for keeping their own kit in. The 4-5 inch range works really well on the front pocket of a canvas tote. Density's consistent from Wilcom's digitising across all five sizes, so the satin border doesnt get gappy at the 3-inch version -- the rope outline holds its shape right down to the smaller hoop.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
