Cute lil smiling bat in solid black with two wide horizontal wings stretched out either side. Left wing shows a haunted spooky house silhouette with bare leafless trees, right wing has a crescent moon hanging over a spider web. Wings are basically scenic windows cut into the bat shape, classic fall halloween silhouette.

The whole design works as a long horizontal piece, way wider than tall and the widest version measures 3.4 inches tall by roughly 7.5 inches wing-tip to wing-tip. The bat itself is small and central, two lil fangs poke out the bottom of the smile, the round white eyes keep him friendly not scary. Real kid-friendly halloween pumpkin-season energy, my niece wants one for her hoodie this october.

Last halloween a mom in oregon ordered a whole pile of these and put em on her sons class trick-or-treat bags. She bought 22 in early october, said her kid wanted his classmates each to carry the same spooky bag. Density runs high on this one, roughly 753 dense stitches packed across each square inch of the bat body so the black reads solid even at small sizes.

The 5 sizes go from 1.6 inches wide up to 3.4 inches wide, with stitch counts climbing from 7494 to 19151 along that range. Reach for a sturdy cutaway backing, that high density will pucker thin cotton without proper support. Slow the bobbin tension half a notch if you see any wrinkling at the wing edges, thats usually whats happening.

Stitch this on cream trick-or-treat totes, kids halloween hoodies, or a porch banner in white canvas. Skip black fabric, the silhouette wont read and it'll dissapear into the weave. Text me by email when one of the 8 format files refuses to load and ill fix it before halloween night.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
