Its basically every halloween thing crammed into one design and it works. You've got a solid-black cartoon cat sitting up tall wearing a little witch hat, theres a smiling ghost floating just behind its head, a spider web stretching out to the left, a trio of tiny bats near the top, a small pumpkin at the base, and the word "Boo" tucked in with a curly script. All one colour, which honestly makes hooping on knit fabric so much easier.

The design runs 5 sizes from 3.51" wide up to 7.51" wide, stitch counts going from 8,097 at the smallest all the way to 19,689 at the largest. Single thread change means a customer can blast through this on a Halloween batch run without stopping alot. Built in Wilcom at a satin density of 433 so the cat body stitches down smooth on quilting cotton or fleece without puckering.

Use a lightweight cutaway under jersey or stretchy fabrics to keep everything from pulling. The spider web section uses open fill with gaps between the lines, so a topping sheet helps on fleece or terry if you want clean, sharp radial lines. Pop the topping away after stitching. Best results on black or charcoal fabric where the single dark thread reads as a contrast graphic.

A customer last week finished a run of 12 halloween onesies for her nieces class and said the cat silhouette stitched down clean at the 4-inch size on 100% cotton knit with just a tear-away backing. And she said the kids went absolutely mad for it, so thats always nice to hear.

Holler at me if the file dont load right and Ill sort it out same day.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Kids halloween onesies and baby rompersStitch at the 3.5-inch size on newborn cotton onesies with a firm cutaway backing for best results.
  • Toddler trick-or-treat tote bagsThe 5-inch version fills a canvas tote front panel without overrunning the side seams.
  • Halloween sweatshirts for children ages 3-8Looks sharp on black or grey fleece sweatshirts at the 6-inch width with a single bobbin colour.
  • Classroom trick-or-treat party favour pouchesRun batches of small 3.5-inch pouches fast since theres only one colour change needed.
  • Fleece halloween blankets for kidsGreat centred on a 50x60 fleece throw at the full 7.5-inch size as a bold single focal point.
  • Iron-on patch base for denim jacketsBack the patch with cutaway, stitch on felt, trim close, press onto denim with iron-on adhesive.
  • Witch hat headband accent patchesThe 3.5-inch size fits neatly on a wide headband strip beside a small bow accent.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
