Drew this one up last October and it keeps selling every September like clockwork. Theres something about the bucket hat that makes people lose it, I get messages every year saying they stitched it onto their kids trick-or-treat bag.

The ghost body is white satin with heavy black outlines keeping the shape clean on fabric. And its wearing a solid orange bucket hat, same orange thread as the jack-o-lantern pumpkin bucket in its other hand. The iced drink has a lil teal straw detail that actually reads well even at the smaller 2.51-inch hooped size. 4 colour stops: white, orange, teal, black. Digitised in Wilcom EmbroideryStudio so the underlay and density are set properly for mid-weight fabrics, dont need to fuss with settings.

Runs from 7,134 stitches at the smallest to 19,767 at the big 5.51-inch version. Use heavy cutaway stabiliser for knits, woven tearaway works fine on quilting cotton or canvas. The outlines are satin stitch at around 2-3mm width so youll want good sharp scissors for trimming the jumps, theres 29 of them across 4 colour changes. Stitch it on a dark navy canvas tote and the white ghost body really pops. Pop it on a sweatshirt chest for a kid and it looks alot better than anything youll find in a party shop. Skip dark orange fabric though, the ghost fill gets lost.
