Built the ghost with the pumpkin bucket and pink tumbler for a halloween candy haul vibe, something more autumn-cozy than spooky-dark. The ghost is a soft blush peach colour, wearing an orange beanie with a star on it, has a little crossbody bag strap across its front, and is carrying both a pink tumbler drink and a jack-o-lantern at the same time. Basically the ghost is going out and is prepared for the full evening.
I get messages from customers every October asking for halloween designs that work for people who dont love the gory or dark aesthetic, and the soft peach-and-pink palette gets bought alot for that exact reason. Five colours: blush peach for the body, warm brown for the bag strap hardware, orange-red for the pumpkin and beanie, soft pink for the tumbler, and black for all outlines. Use a firm cutaway stabiliser, the density runs at 861 and tearaway will let the fill shift on the bobbin side. Stitch the pumpkin face last in the stop sequence, its occured to me that skipping ahead in the colour order on this one leaves gaps at the triangle eye cutouts where the orange underlay shows through.
Pop it on cream or white fabric and the blush peach and orange-red both read warm and seasonal without any extra help. Four sizes from 2.51 inches wide up to 5.51 inches, stitch count from 6,486 up to 16,653. Avoid loose-knit fabrics for this one, the satin-heavy sections need something smooth-weave to sit against cleanly. Use light tearaway on poplin if you want a soft hand feel on the back. What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Front chest placement on a cream or ivory sweatshirtThe blush peach fills pops best on white or cream, goes a bit muddy on mid-grey
- Fall season tote bag for a halloween market tripNatural canvas tote in a 14-inch format gives the 3.51-inch size plenty of breathing room
- Trick-or-treat bag for younger kids who prefer cute over scaryThe non-scary character design works well for kids who dont want the traditional spooky look
- Embroidered halloween ornament on felt for a mantle displayBack with cutaway on a 4-inch felt circle, hang three in a row on twine for a garland
- Matching pair with another ghost design on a pillowcase setGhost facing left on the left case, ghost facing right on the right case of a pillowcase pair
- Seasonal apron front panel for an October baking sessionLinen apron with medium tearaway works fine if the fabric is woven firmly, not loosely woven
- Iron-on patch for a kids backpack or lunchbox bagThe smallest hoop holds it at 2.51 in on a backpack front pocket panel without any resizing needed
- Framed hoop art for an autumn-themed bedroom or living roomStretched in a natural wood 6-inch hoop with a warm cream fabric behind it for a shelf display

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
