Worked this 5-colour scene out as a full little Halloween block. Theres 3 ghosts huddled together, each one with its own personality. The one on the left has a big pink bow and cheeky sideways eyes, the top one has a pumpkin hat growing right out of its head, and the front ghost is making this tongue-out face. They're all white with those orange-blushed cheeks which gives em a real kawaii look. Underneath the group sits a carved jack-o-lantern in orange with a green stem, and scattered round the outside are tiny black bats and a broom handle. The whole thing is busy in the best way.
Five colours total, white for the ghost bodies, pink for the bow, orange for the pumpkin and cheek blush, black for the bats, and green for the stem. Density runs at 668 which is solid, so tape a layer of cutaway underneath the hooped fabric especially at the 7.5 inch size where youve got nearly 35,000 stitches going in. For smaller sizes around 3.5 inches the stitch count drops to about 12,935 and its much quicker to run. I usually hoop everything on medium cotton first and do a test stitch before the final piece.
Customers have been ordering this one heavily since last halloween for matching Halloween sets, like a tee and a bag with the same ghost crew on both. Send me a message if you want to know which size works for a specific item and Ill tell you straight away. The pink bow ghost specifically seems to be the favourite with people doing kids Halloween costumes. Try it on white, cream or pale grey fabric so the ghost fill doesnt disappear into the background.
Use a topping on any loopy or textured fabric to stop the satin fill from sinking. Run your machine at medium speed through the face detail sections for clean eye and mouth stitching.

- Kids Halloween tees and sweatshirtsStitch the 5 inch version on a white kids tee for a Halloween outfit that isnt too scary for younger children.
- Trick-or-treat canvas bagsThe 7.5 inch size fills a canvas trick-or-treat bag front panel with enough detail to look impressive.
- Matching Halloween sibling outfitsBuy 2 sizes and stitch matching outfits for siblings, one bigger on a sweatshirt, one smaller on a tee.
- Halloween party tote giftsMake small muslin Halloween tote bags with the 3.5 inch version to give as party gifts.
- Autumn classroom teacher shirtsTeachers love the non-scary vibe for classroom Halloween shirts worn to school parties in October.
- Seasonal kids room pillow coversThe 4 inch version centred on a pale grey pillow cover makes a really sweet Halloween bedroom accent.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
