Its a single colour design so theyre all rendered in solid black, which sounds like it might flatten the scene but it actually doesnt because the gnome shapes are so chunky and distinct they read clearly even without colour. Hoop it on a firm cutaway stabiliser, dont use tearaway on stretch cotton or jersey because the dense gnome body sections need a stable base. On stiff denim or canvas tearaway works fine. Add a topping on fleece or minky if youre doing kids items. The 2.26-inch smallest size fits on a small patch or a card pocket front if you want something subtle. Pair with a matching pumpkin repeat border along a hem for a full autumn set.
