Its a full scene: two gnomes are riding in or on a vintage-style truck and the cargo area is loaded with pumpkins. The gnomes have those long pointed hats in black, oversized beards in cream or white, and tiny visible bodies in whatever halloween-appropriate coat colour is in the file sequence. The truck has a rounded retro cab, a rust or red body, and the wooden flatbed slats are visible in brown satin. Eleven thread colours run through this one: orange for the pumpkins, black for the hats, rust red for the truck body, cream for the beards, purple for some accents, brown for the wooden bed, green, yellow, white, dark grey for the cab shadow areas, and warm tan. Thats alot of colour changes, ya know, so this is a proper sit-and-watch-it-run design.

Three sizes only, smallest at 4 inches wide and the biggest at 5.3 inches, the top size runs at 44,926 stitches with a density of 995. That density is the highest Ive seen on a gnome scene file and it means every stitch is laying tight, the coverage is solid, no gaps. Use a heavy cutaway stabiliser without question here. Medium-weight cutaway wont hold a 995-density fill flat through the whole run on a soft fabric. Dont hoop knit fabric without a topping aswell, the needle will push down into the surface between the gnome detail areas and youll lose the face expressions on the smaller elements. A customer last october ordered the 5-inch version on black canvas totes for a halloween market stall and said the eleven-colour scene stopped people mid-aisle.

Stitch the 5-in run on a canvas tote front face where the full scene has room to breathe. Use the 4-inch version on a thick sweatshirt chest as a statement halloween piece. Pop it on a pillow cover as a seasonal couch decoration. Add it to a canvas apron for a halloween kitchen look.
