Im not sure Ive counted every element in this design but its alot. Heart shape, and then inside it theres a haunted house, a skull, a ghost, a jack-o-lantern, a bat, a spider and web, a black cat, candy, a witch hat, crossbones, a candle, a crescent moon, leaf shapes, the word BOO in two places and more scattered bits that you keep noticing on the 3rd look. All of it packed into a proper heart silhouette with no gaps.
Its all single-colour black which sounds simple but the digitising is actually doing alot of work. Each element inside the heart uses just enough stitches to read as its own thing without the whole piece turning into a solid black blob. Running stitch outlines, light satin fills in the right spots, negative space between shapes to let air in. On the largest size at about 8 inches across and 6.5 inches tall thats nearly 25k stitches navigating through all those tiny shapes without a single skip or pull.
4 sizes, starting at around 5.5 inches and going up to 8 inches wide. These are large designs, theyre built for chest panels, back panels, pillow fronts. One customer who does Halloween craft fairs ran the big version on black felt and cut it out as a statement patch, which was a clever way to use the black-on-black contrast.
Hoop with a medium cutaway stabiliser. Add water-soluble topper above textured fabric so the running stitch detail doesnt sink. Use light fabric for maximum contrast because the stitching is all black. Email me at the shop if your file gives you trouble and Ill get a replacement out the same day.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
