Drew this one up because its one of the more clever halloween alphabets ive worked with. Each letter in the word LOVE becomes its own halloween character. The L is a smiling ghost in white and grey. The O has a grinning jack-o-lantern wearing a pointy witch hat and holding a little potion bottle. The V is built from 2 candy corn shapes in yellow and orange. And the E has a black cat arching on one side and a spider dangling off the other.
12 colors, 21,571 stitches on the 3.25-inch wide small size going up to 51,250 stitches on the full 6.94-inch version. Back it with a firm cutaway stabiliser, the pumpkin satin areas and the letter fills are dense, around 985 stitches per square inch on the larger sizes. Hoop stable and take your time through the orange sections. Its worth it. Stitch it out on your practice fabric first if youre new to 12-color work.
I get people ordering this for halloween sweatshirts every year, thats the bread and butter use for it. Put it on trick-or-treat canvas tote bags, stitch it onto a door hanger pillow, use it on seasonal home decor pillows for the living room. A customer this october made a matching set of family sweatshirts using this design and the kids went nuts over the candy corn V. Thats always the one that gets the reaction.
