Spooky lil scene packed into one 5-inch hooped panel of black thread on cream cotton. A grinning skeleton sits up tall inside the big carved pumpkin, hollow eye sockets staring straight out, bony arms raised over the spider web stretched behind him. Two more pumpkins crowd the front, one with the classic jack-o-lantern grin and one plain.
Single colour, black thread only. Zero stops, zero colour swaps, the bobbin runs end to end. Stitch range is 9,954 at the smallest 2.95-inch size up to 24,038 at the largest 6.30-inch. Density sits around 509 which is fine on cotton tee fabric. I digitised it in Wilcom EmbroideryStudio with sketch-fill texture on the pumpkin ribs and proper satin underlay on the web lines, so the cobweb stays crisp at larger sizes. The skeletons empty eye holes are negative-space gaps so dont expect them to fill in with thread, the shirt colour shows through.
A customer in atlanta sent me a photo last halloween where shed stitched the 5-inch version on the front of a black trick-or-treat tote and the white cotton lining popped through that skull face. Looked alot creepier than Id expected honestly. She used a layer of mesh cutaway under the tote because the cotton had abit of weave to it.
Stitch this on white, cream, orange, lime green or grey fabric where the black thread gets max contrast. And skip dark navy or pure black unless youre planning to swap thread to cream or orange instead. Hoop with medium cutaway behind anything stretchy. The smallest 2.95-inch fits a 4x4 frame and still reads from a metre back. Holler if you get any wonky trim jumps on import and Ill rerun the stitch file for your machine brand.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
