Woman skull face with the hair piled into a loose messy bun at the top. Hollow eye sockets with that Dia de los Muertos styling, decorative petals and curves radiating outward like someone applied elaborate eye makeup in bone and flowers. Cheekbones carry fine floral filigree in deep crimson with gold accents. The bun sits high and dramatic, a few loose strands falling at the sides. Stark white as the main skull fill, black outline, and the colour details layered over the top in violet, crimson and hot pink.

Density at 1,419 stitches per inch puts this in the heavy range for the face and floral socket sections. The ornate filigree uses fine satin columns, and thats probably the fiddliest part of the whole file. Run a test swatch first on whatever fabric you plan, the detail reads very differently on smooth cotton versus textured fleece. Cutaway stabiliser underneath, not tearaway. The skull outline is a continuous run, so if theres a tension issue on your machine it shows up as a wobbly perimeter line on the final piece. Get your bobbin tension right on the swatch before you commit to the garment.

I get orders on this one in september and october without fail, but it sells through winter too. One customer told me she stitched the 7.51-inch version on the back of a black satin blouse and wore it to a halloween office party. She said people assumed it was a screen print. At 3.51 inches wide its quite narrow for a 45k-stitch design, the detail density is really high for the footprint. Mount it on shirt chest panels and it reads rich, not cheap.

Black fabric is what this was built for. Hot pink, crimson and gold all read brilliant on black. Deep charcoal and dark burgundy work too. Stitch 3.51 inch size stitched across a black tee chest or a shirt front panel. Run the largest 7.51-inch size on a jacket back, a tote front, or a halloween party cushion. Dont reach for pale or white fabric, the stark white skull fill disappears and youre left with outlines only.

8 machine-ready format files in the bundle. Any format trouble just message me and Ill get you sorted same day.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
