Halloween unicorn pumpkin mashup, perfect for the kids who cant decide between cute and spooky. The carved orange jack-o-lantern pumpkin sits centre with triangular eyes and a grinning toothy mouth. A tall striped horn rises up from the top, spiralled in candy-stripe alternating colour, with two pointed unicorn ears flanking the pumpkin on either side, theyre dark on outer edges and orange inside. Two small bats flap off to the left and right, closed lashed unicorn eyes sit below the pumpkin face, plus a handful of small stars scattered around the whole composition. Reads playful spooky.
Two colours only, theres just one colour change to manage on the machine. Orange thread for pumpkin body horn stripes ear centres and warm stars, black for bats dark horn bands face features lashes and dark stars. Smallest 4.49 inch size hoops at 8,542 stitches, the largest 7.5 inch lands at 17,014. Density at a moderate 310 cause the pumpkin and horn use medium tatami fill rather than heavy. Wilcom EmbroideryStudio is what I used here, directional satin underlay traces the horn spiral so its got clean edges where the two threads meet.
One customer ordered the 6-inch size last halloween, she stitched it on a small purple cotton pillow for her daughters bedroom. Said her kid wouldnt stop pointing at it from her bed, suprised her how much joy a unicorn pumpkin can bring to a six-year-old. She came back two weeks later to order matching pyjamas and a tote bag with the same design at the 4-inch size.
Best stitched on black, charcoal, deep purple, midnight blue or burnt orange ground where the warm thread reads sharp. Skip neon or busy prints, the carved features need negative space to read. Run medium cutaway under jersey or knit. Drop a topping on fleece terry or sherpa. The 4.49 inch fits a 5x7 hoop nicely for tote panels and apron fronts. Largest 7.5 inch lands inside a 6x10 hoop for sweatshirt or hoodie chest panels. Pick the medium 5-inch run for kids tees and pyjama tops. Pair with smaller bat or star motifs for a coordinated family halloween set. Big easy smiles all round.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
