Classic witch hat, the tall pointy kind with a wide brim, sitting centred inside a decorative oval frame. Two colours total, one for the hat shape and one for the frame outline or the hatband ribbon detail. Clean silhouette style, not overly fussy. The kind of design thats recognisable at a glance and reads well on both small and large stitch-out sizes, which is why its one of my more versatile halloween pieces.
Stitch count runs from 3,897 on the smallest 3.5 inch wide size to 9,502 on the 7.5 inch. Five sizes, punched in Wilcom EmbroideryStudio, 2 colour changes during the run. The frame has a satin column outline and the hat body runs with fill plus underlay underneath to keep the shape stable on most fabrics. Use a medium cutaway stabiliser on jersey fabrics. On woven cotton, linen, or canvas a tearaway stabiliser works fine for this stitch count because the density is low enough that youre not fighting the fabric.
I was suprised by how often customers order this one for things that arent shirts. Dm me if you want a name or short phrase added inside the frame, I do that kind of customising for orders all the time. Best results on black fabric with the hat in orange and the frame in white, it looks almost like a vintage halloween poster print. Or flip it, stitch on cream cotton with both colours in black for a monochrome look that ages really well.
Hoop it square and centre the design before starting. The frame is nearly as wide as it is tall so a standard hoop works well. Any sizing issues just send me the details and ill sort it.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
