Sat down with this wanting a frame design that actually looked halloween and not just generic autumn. Gnarled twig ring, witch hat at the top, jack-o-lanterns worked right into the sides of the wreath, bats up near the hat, candles and webs at the bottom. The centre is open so you can add a name, initials, or a short word inside after you stitch it.

One colour. Done. Thats the whole stop sequence, a single black thread runs the entire frame from first stitch to last trim. Wilcom EmbroideryStudio handles the detail through stitch angle and density variation so the twig texture actually looks like twisted bark and not just a flat fill. The witch hat uses a slightly tighter bobbin tension area to make the brim read heavier than the surrounding twigs. Realy impressive for single-thread digitising. People have been ordering the 7-inch version to use as a monogram frame on fall throw pillows, which I think is the best use of the open centre honestly.

Four sizes run from 4 inch up to 7 inch. The smallest at 4 inch still has 8,557 stitches because theres alot of fine branch detail in there, so dont underestimate the stitch time. Lay tearaway underneath at 4 inch, switch to heavy cutaway at 5 and above. Add a topping on anything with texture so the twig outlines dont sink into the fabric pile. Skip topping on smooth woven cotton or linen.

Stitch the frame first, then hoop again to add initials or a name in the centre. Best to run the monogram separately with its own stabiliser pass rather than trying to do both in one hooping. Run it on a tote, a pillow, an apron, a sweatshirt. One color. Plenty of impact.

Dm me if you want to talk through placement or need the file in a different format and Ill get back to you.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
