Stacked calligraphy lockup. Happy sits up top in flowing cursive with an oversized looping H that curlicues back on itself, and Birthday underneath in matching ornate script with elaborate flourish loops extending out from the B and curling back under the y tail. The whole piece reads like a wedding-style copperplate brush script thats been stretched into birthday celebration territory. Wider than tall, sits at 2.38 to 6.34 inch wide.

Single colour design, orange thread only. No colour stops to manage, the machines runs it through start to finish. Stitch range is 5,691 at the smallest 2.38 inch up to 16,478 at the largest 6.34 inch. Density at 324 is light, which is what ya want on script thats this delicate. Theres only 31 to 32 trims even on the larger sizes cause all the flourish loops carry through with travel stitches rather than jumping.

I digitised this in Wilcom EmbroideryStudio. The letterforms are thin satin columns with proper directional underlay, the curlicue swirls use a finer satin so the loops stay readable without bulking up. Pop the 3 inch onto a cotton napkin or the 5 inch centred on a gift bag panel. Real tip, the smallest 2.38 inch sits at the lower edge of what reads cleanly with this much flourish, so if youre going below 3 inch make sure your machine handles fine satin without skipping. Suprised how many machines struggle with sub-3 inch fine script.

One customer ordered the 4 inch back in march for a stack of cotton birthday banners for her daughters tenth, she said shed stitched twelve of em on a saturday afternoon and the kids each took one home as a party favour. Best on cream, pale pink, mint, or white cotton where orange has full contrast. Skip dark fabric, orange disappears against navy. Use a layer of medium tearaway behind cotton and water-soluble topping if your fabric has any tooth, the satin will sink into looser weaves. Its soft. Its clean. One pretty colour, done right.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
