Last spring a customer messaged me about a road trip her family was planning down through the smokies. She wanted a happy camper outline to stitch onto matching tees for the trip, suprised me with how specific she was about the trailer shape, she wanted the rounded teardrop style not the boxy modern one. So I sketched a retro teardrop with bunting flags, two little porthole windows, the works.
The file ships with 13 sizes. Widths run from 3.5 climbing to 7.5 and heights span 3.06 to 6.56. Stitch counts go 2025 starting at small and going to 18379 on the largest. Just 1 thread colour, so this is a clean monogram-style stitch out. Density sits at 374 per square inch, lighter than my fill designs because this one is pure linework. Digitised with directional underlay on the curves so the lines hold their shape on knits. Heres how Ive been pricing the bulk runs. Its got room for personalising letters underneath. Thats the spot Id tighten the underlay.
Hoop on a no-show mesh for cotton tees. The line work is forgiving but a flimsy stabiliser will let curves wobble. Cutaway is overkill here, the design is too light. use a sheet of soluble film on terry or fleece, the small bunting flag triangles will sink otherwise.
I sent the customer a 5.5-inch version which fit her kids tees well. Looked clean. Text me a note when you need a thicker outline weight for caps or canvas and Ill bump the line density before stitching.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Family road trip matching t-shirtsSmokies family road trip matching tees, customer was specific about the rounded teardrop shape not the boxy modern trailer.
- Camping mug zippered pouch frontRoom for personalising letters underneath the camper, the customer added her kids names below for that birthday surprise feel.
- Canvas duffel bag side panelSingle thread colour means clean monogram-style hoop time, no swaps to plan and the run finishes start to end uninterrupted.
- Adventure tote bag chest designNo-show mesh is what works on cotton tees here, cutaway is overkill because the line work is too light to need that weight.
- Childrens hoodie front centreReads as complete badge on a canvas duffel side panel, the curved HAPPY CAMPER text crowns the trailer like a patch design.
- Outdoor cushion cover front featureDensity runs at 374 spi because the file is pure linework, lighter than fill designs and forgiving on stretchy fleece hoodie chests.
- Camp blanket corner accent designBunting flag triangles are small so topping film across terry or fleece is needed or they sink into the nap.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
