Every year I get people looking for a 'Happy Halloween' design thats not the same chunky block-letter version they find everywhere. This one uses mixed typography, the 'Happy' floats above in a lighter script weight and 'Halloween' below in a heavier, wider display face, which gives the whole thing more visual interest than single-weight type across two words. Three colours, 10,046 stitches, density 155, in a 3.51 by 2.72 inch composition.
The mixed weight typography requires clean satin transition at the script-to-display boundary so the two lettering styles dont bleed into each other at the join point. I digitised the script passes first, then the display lettering on top, with a gap underlay so the layering stays clean. Use medium-weight cutaway stabiliser on knit fabrics. Tear-away on stable woven cottons and linen. A 75/11 needle works fine across most standard embroidery applications here. Hoop snugly, especially on anything with stretch.
Three colour stops keep this manageable even for people who hate thread changes. The most popular combination I've seen customers use is script in orange, display in black, with the third colour used for an accent outline or a background element depending on your setup. But white script on a black base with orange display lettering also looks great and photographs better for product listings or social posts. The 3.51 inch wide footprint works on a left chest tee, a candy bowl front panel, a treat bag, or the center of a halloween throw pillow. Stitch on stable cotton first before trying on stretch if youre new to multi-weight typography designs like this one.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
