Sometimes you just want a clean, honest greeting and this delivers exactly that. 'Happy Holidays' in two stacked lines, crisp decorative lettering, 2 colours. No fuss, no gimmicks. The kind of design that works alot of the time because its not trying to be clever, its just a good solid holiday piece.
Stitch count runs from 6,745 at the smallest 2.2 inch wide size up to 14,838 at the 4.65 inch largest. But the height at all sizes is taller than the width, going up to 7.5 inches tall on the biggest version because the words are stacked. So this one works particularly well on the chest of a shirt where vertical height is your friend. Two colour changes only, stitches in well under half an hour at most speeds.
I've sold this one consistently every december since I first put it up and it keeps coming back as a top seller in the holiday range. One customer ordered it for a small batch of cotton gift pouches she was making for a church fundraiser last christmas, said they sold out in the first hour of their market. And its one of the designs I get repeat orders on, people come back each year for fresh batches.
Use a tearaway stabiliser on woven cotton and a cutaway on any fleece or jersey knit. So long as your hoop tension is good and the fabric is well secured you wont have any registration issues between the two colours. Works on red, green, navy, cream and white fabrics. Skip very busy plaid backgrounds where the text can get lost.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

- Holiday tote bags for seasonal shoppingOn a canvas tote the vertical format fills the bag front without looking stretched or oddly proportioned.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
