Knocked this one out specifically for the new year window, those few weeks between december and january when everyone wants something celebratory but christmas is already done. The lettering is bold, Happy New Year in a mix of script and block styling that gives it that party graphic feel without going full glitter-bomb. Alot of people underestimate how much demand there is for new year specific embroidery designs, its actually a busy lil niche.

Only 2 colour changes, which keeps stitching time down and thread management simple. Stitch count goes from 11,175 on the 3.5 inch size up to 23,770 on the 7.5 inch, density sits at 455 which gives the lettering solid body without being too stiff. Five sizes total, ranging from 3.5 inches wide by 3.26 tall up to 7.5 by 6.97 inches, so its slightly wider than tall at every size.

And Ive had customers use this on party gear from november onwards, stocking up for nye events. One customer ordered it in december and said she was making a batch of cotton party bags for an nye dinner she hosts every year. So this one comes up more than youd think outside of the actual holiday rush.

Best on woven cotton, linen, or canvas. Pop a cutaway stabiliser behind jersey or fleece. Tearaway works fine on rigid woven fabrics. Skip very lightweight fabrics for the full 7.5 inch size since the 455 density fill on the lettering can pull on a loose weave. Dont stress about the hoop size, the design fits a standard 8x8 at the largest.

Two colours, five sizes, clean bold lettering. Works for party favours, nye gifts, and tote bags heading into january.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
