So this is a happy running dog and shes built to look like a border collie mid-stride. Tongue lolling out one side. Tail flicked up. Front paw lifted off the ground and you can almost hear the panting. The artwork is that sketchy illustrated style where you can see the pencil-like underlines bleeding through the colour, not a clean cartoon at all.

Ginger and cream are the dominant colours, charcoal nose, those soft pink insides on the floppy ears. The fur fill is loose, kinda scribbled, with directional stitching that runs the way the coat would actually fall. And the little ground shadow under the back paws is what sells the running pose. Without that scribbled shadow shes just a dog standing there. With it, shes movin.

11 thread colours, 9 sizes from 1.84 inch up to a 3.94 inch wide chest size. Stitch counts run 16k on the smallest version and 40.8k on the biggest one. A customer wrote me last spring asking for the file in a specific format for her pet shop merch run, and the small size still reads sharp because the line work carries it.

Stitch on a white or oat-cotton tee for dog mums and dads. Pop a 3 inch size on a canvas tote bag for the dog walker in the family aswell. Add it to a denim jacket back panel, a tea towel for the kitchen, or a fleece blanket corner that goes near the pup's basket. Skip dark fabrics here, the cream belly and white chest get lost on navy or black alot.

Use a medium cutaway stabiliser, the ginger fill is the densest section and it'll pull on thin cotton without proper backing. Hoop snug because of the long jump stitches between the legs. Hit me up on chat if the file dont open in your software and I'll resend in whatever format you need.

Behind every stitch

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
