Big scene with 4 colours and stitches climbing to 53532 on the largest hoop. Theres a tall gothic castle in the background, towers with broken battlements, and a full moon sitting just behind the highest spire. Down in front theres a carved jack-o-lantern, that orange glow catching the darkness, and the whole composition has this layered depth to it like the castle is actually sitting back in the scene. Dense satin on the pumpkin face sections, and the stone tower walls are done with directional fill so they read as texture rather than flat colour.
Four colours means a few changes in the hoop. Black base, grey stone fill, orange for the pumpkin, and pale yellow for the moon glow. I mapped this in Wilcom with underlay laid down first under each section so the dense fill areas stay stable. At the largest 7.5-inch size the density sits at 1082, which is high but worth it for the detail level. Pop a good cutaway stabiliser underneath and dont skip the hooping step, because at that stitch count a poorly hooped piece will show registration gaps between the colour layers.
Runs from 4.5 inches wide reaching 7.5 inches across four sizes. A customer last october stitched the largest on the back of a canvas trucker jacket in black and it was honestly one of the best halloween jacket backs Ive seen. That orange pumpkin against the dark canvas really stands out. Heights range from just under 4 inches at the smallest to 6.59 at the largest.
Best fabric choice is medium or heavyweight woven, canvas, denim, or thick cotton twill. Avoid fleece at the large size because the pumpkin satin section needs a stable base or the edges wont crisp up. Layer a topping on velvet or any textured fabric to keep the fine castle linework clean.

- Denim or canvas apronsApron chest at the 4.5-inch size keeps the scene visible without overwhelming the piece.
- Embroidery hoop wall art for OctoberHooped on natural linen in a 10-inch hoop, the castle scene makes dramatic autumn wall decor.
- Halloween tshirts and sweatshirtsFront placement on a black crewneck sweatshirt at 6 inches works brilliantly for Halloween events.
- Kids treat bags and trick-or-treat pouchesStitched on heavy cotton canvas trick-or-treat bags, the scene holds up to repeated use.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
