Honestly this is kinda just the perfect christmas phrase for anyone who knows theyre not really on the nice list. 'Heading for the Naughty List' in casual stacked lettering, two colours, a design that customising into a funny christmas gift is very straightforward. The lettering has a relaxed hand-drawn quality to it, not overly polished, which makes it read as intentionally cheeky rather than accidentally tacky.
Stitch count runs from 7,648 at the smallest 2.7 inch size up to 17,657 at the 5.8 inch largest version. Height goes up to 7.5 inches tall on the biggest size so the stacked text has room to breathe. Two colour changes, light density at 405, so this one stitches really really quickly. Use a tearaway stabiliser on cotton twill or canvas. Cutaway for anything stretchy. Doesnt need topping on most fabrics.
My nephew asked me to stitch this on a plain white onesie for his baby last christmas, as a joke gift for the family. Sizes span 2.71 to 5.81 inches wide and up to 7.5 inches tall. Works great on red, white, navy and grey fabrics. Pick a bold contrasting background so the lighter coloured text reads clearly at smaller sizes. Avoid very dark fabrics with the smaller sizes since the fine letterforms can lose crispness.
