This one was built for valentines day but honestly people order it year round for the bike angle. The bicycle is side-on with heart balloons tied at the handlebars, strings curling loosely upward. Single colour throughout, which I actually think is the right call here, the line art reads cleaner without adding fill. The balloon hearts have that hand-lettered softness where theyre not perfectly round, they lean slightly which gives the whole thing movement.

Five sizes running from 2.99 by 3.51 inches up to 6.39 by 7.51 inches, stitches range from 10920 at the small end to 26032 at the 6 inch size. The density is 542 so this has real body to it especially in the larger formats. Satin stitch on the spoke outlines is directional so the spokes read clearly and dont flatten out. Use a cutaway stabiliser on anything with a knit base. Pair tearaway with flat woven fabrics and you'll get a clean result without any residue.

One customer used this on a canvas tote for her valentines day market stall last february, she ordered the 4 inch version and said she ran fifty of them on natural cotton in one weekend. Thats always a good sign. Add the 3 inch version to a card-holder pouch or a small gift bag, it sits perfectly in the centre without looking lost. Skip the cutaway on firmly woven linen, tearaway is cleaner there. Message me if you need help placing the design in a hoop for an odd-shaped item and Ill send me note back with suggestions.

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Romantic anniversary shirt or top designRun the 3.5 inch on a women's fitted shirt chest area with cutaway stabiliser on the knit fabric.
  • Fabric card holder or small gift pouchUse the 3 inch on a small flat pouch or card holder, tearaway works cleanly on the flat cotton.
  • Kids cycling club jacket designPop the 3.5 inch on a jacket chest or sleeve for a cycling club or school cycling team look.
  • Cotton tote bags for bookshops and boutiquesThe 4 inch is a solid fit on a medium canvas tote bag front panel with clean tearaway underneath.
  • Cycling-themed birthday gift itemsStitch the 3.5 inch on a cotton gift bag or pouch for a cycling-themed birthday present.
  • Valentine cushion cover or pillow designRun the 5 inch on a plain pillow cover, the line density at this size gives the spokes real definition.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
