Ten heart-shaped balloons, each a different colour, all floating upward in a loose cluster with thin string lines trailing down and gathering at the base into a bundle. None of the balloons are solid filled. They use a border-only satin ring so the centre stays open, which is exactly what an inflated balloon looks like held up to light. The strings are slim running stitch lines that cross over each other naturally as they converge at the bottom, giving that real bouquet-held-in-one-fist look.

Colours across the ten: teal, coral, peach, pale pink, soft mauve, gold yellow, purple, magenta, black and a nude-blush tone. Practically every machine in your thread rack gets used. All distinct enough that no two adjacent balloons clash. The bouquet fans wider at the top where balloons overlap at the edges and narrows toward the bottom where the strings draw together.

Biggest size is 7.51 wide by 6.78 tall, so the bouquet fills a tote front panel easily. Smallest is 3.51 by 3.17. Stitch count is moderate for the complexity at 20k on the largest, because the open-centre balloon style removes a big chunk of fill stitches youd normally have. Density is 410 per square inch so it wont board up softer fabrics. Use a light tearaway with woven cotton and a medium cutaway on anything stretchy.

Balloons dont read as strictly seasonal the way hearts do, so this one gets pulled out for birthdays as much as valentines. I had one customer use the 5-inch version on a muslin party bag for a toddlers first birthday last spring, looked genuinely lovely. The outline style reads cleaner and more modern than a solid-filled version would. Send me the file number if a colour run misaligns and Ill clean up the path order.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Tote bag front for a birthday gift bag in any monthStitch the 7-inch on a plain canvas tote and fill it with birthday treats, the bouquet makes the bag the gift wrap
  • Kids birthday party favour pouches in muslinRun the 3.5-inch on small muslin pouches and fill with sweets for a birthday table, varying thread means no two pouches match
  • Sweatshirt chest for a february birthday falling on valentines weekPut the 5-inch on a sweatshirt chest for someone whose birthday falls in february and wants one design for both
  • Baby shower gift bag embroidery on natural canvasStitch onto a natural canvas tote for a baby shower gift bag, open outlines keep it light not heavy
  • Nursery wall art hoop in an embroidery frameMount the biggest size in a large hoop, back with felt, and hang on a nursery wall as textile art
  • Pillow cover for a celebration-themed kids bedroomCentre the 6-inch on a cotton cushion cover for a celebration corner in a kids bedroom
  • Denim jacket sleeve panel for a fun everyday accentPlace the 3.5-inch on a denim jacket sleeve as a colourful accent that works through spring not just february
  • Canvas zip pouch front for a gift that ships flatStitch on a canvas zip pouch front, the outline style means the pouch zips cleanly without fill bulk

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
