4 heart balloons bunched together, each one a lil different in size and height, with thin curling strings gathered at the bottom like someone is holding em. The design sits wide and low, maybe 7.51 inches across at the largest versus only 4.35 inches tall at that same size. Stitch range is 10,115 at the smallest up to 29,111 stitches for the full 7.51 inch version, and the density is high at 891 so the balloons have real body to em.

I digitised each balloon individually with satin column fill so the heart shape reads clean and doesnt flatten out on textured fabric. Theres 4 colour changes which is actually pretty manageable for a design this busy looking. The strings are done in a thin running stitch so they stay delicate and dont overpower the hearts above.

Best on cotton twill, canvas or a stable jersey fabric. Drop a cutaway stabiliser underneath because the density hits hard on the balloon fills and you dont want shifting mid-hoop. One customer asked me last valentines if it would work on a wine tote bag, tried it on natural canvas and it looked great. Ive had people stitch this on cream fleece blankets aswell.

Use the 3.51 inch version on cards or small patches. The bigger seven and a half inch sits nicely centred on a throw pillow or tote front panel. Pick a light background colour so all four balloon shades pop properly.

Drop me a message if you run into any file issues and I'll get it sorted for you.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Valentine's Day tote bags and shopping bagsCanvas tote for a valentines carry bag: the wide-and-low proportions sit under the handles perfectly without feeling cramped
  • Throw pillows and cushion coversThrow pillow on cotton twill at the 7.5 top. The grouped heart shapes give the cushion a sense of motion from across the room
  • Kids birthday party banners and buntingBaby gift tote as a hospital room gift with a card tucked inside; the balloon cluster reads as celebratory for any arrival occasion
  • Baby shower gift bags and pouchesWine bag panel on natural canvas at a mid-size, the soft curling strings sit above the bottle neck opening naturally
  • Wine bag and bottle carrier embellishmentBlanket corner binding on cream fleece at the 3.51-inch size, the density at 891 means the balloon fills stay solid even on pile fabric with a proper underlay
  • Fleece blankets for valentine giftsBirthday bunting on felt squares with the small size repeated, cut after stitching and strung on ribbon
  • Celebration card making with fabric backingFabric card front at the smallest size on stiff interfacing, pressed and folded as a standalone handmade card alternative

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
