Nine heart-shaped balloons floating together in a loose circle, each filled with radiating satin stitches that fan from the center. Thats what gives them that round glossy-balloon look rather than just a flat colored shape. Warm pink, almost hot pink, and the way the stitch angles shift across each balloon surface catches light at different points. Small tight knots at the base of each balloon, curling strings trailing down below the cluster.

3 colors at a density of 524. Only 3 sizes in the file, ranging from 17,570 stitches at the smallest 4.8 inch wide size up to 25,790 stitches at 6.54 inches. The radiating fill on nine balloons adds up -- and the stitch quality shows in the finish. Use a medium tearaway on stable woven cotton. If youre on a knit or stretch, a cutaway is the call. Message me if the balloon outlines are registering off, thats usually a tension issue I can help troubleshoot.

A customer sent me a message last April after using this for a baby's first birthday banner -- she had it stitched onto linen banner fabric at the 6 inch size and it looked incredible. I think of it as a celebration design that happens to have hearts. Pop it on a throw pillow. Stitch it onto a zip pouch for a ready-made birthday present. Put it onto the chest panel of a fabric gift bag. Use it on canvas totes for valentines or for party favor bags. Works beautifully on pale pink or cream linen and also doesnt look bad on white cotton at all.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Valentine's Day pillow covers and cushionsOval wreath shape fills a standard 18 inch pillow without crowding the edges.
  • First birthday party tote bags and fabric gift bagsFirst birthday tote bag: stitch alongside a name in simple text -- heart balloons read as celebratory without needing a number.
  • Baby shower decor items and wall hangingsBaby shower tote at 5 inches shows individual balloon shapes; gender-neutral enough for any shower.
  • Zip pouches and cosmetic bags as ready-made giftsZip pouch with this on the front is a ready-made gift -- no wrapping needed.
  • Tote bag front panels for love and celebration themesPale pink canvas blends warmly; white or cream linen sharpens the contrast and shows the radiating fill detail more clearly.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
