Three colours, 3 sizes of mini heart, and the whole thing is kinda just one big heart made of a bunch of lil hearts. Theres no outline, no frame stroke. The large outer heart shape only exists because of how the smaller hearts are packed together. Red, magenta, and purple, and they alternate throughout so no two same-coloured hearts sit right next to each other. Honestly its one of those designs that reads differently from 3 feet away versus up close.

Stitch count sits at 7,173 on the smallest 3.53-inch wide version and climbs to 14,279 on the 6.18-inch. Three colour changes total, which is manageable even on older home machines. The digitising uses tight satin fills on each individual mini heart so the colour saturation is realy dense when you stitch it out. I run underlay on the individual hearts at the denser sections to keep everything crisp and the edges sharp.

A customer who does baby shower planning ordered this last march for gift cushion covers she makes for new mums. She stitched it in the corner of a white cotton pillow and left the inside of the big heart blank so she could add the babys name later in chain stitch. Suprised me how good that looked actually. Since then Ive had customising requests for wedding table runners and anniversary cards aswell.

Pop the 6-inch on a cream or blush cotton pillow cover corner for that baby shower or valentines look. Skip dark navy or black base fabrics here because the purple hearts absorb into dark backgrounds. White, ivory, and soft pink are your friends. Use cutaway stabiliser if youre stitching onto anything with stretch in it. The packed-heart arrangement will shift and gap on jersey if the stabiliser isnt solid.

Pair a smaller 4-inch version on a canvas tote front or a tea towel corner. Run the smallest 3.5-inch as a repeating pattern across a quilt block border, 4 in a row looks realy really good spaced evenly.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
