Six hearts, roughly the same size, scattered loosely in a cluster -- each one tilted at a slightly different angle, some overlapping a bit at the edges. Three colours: a deep red, a softer pink, and a third shade that might be coral or burgundy depending on your thread choice. The density sits at 342 which is on the lighter side, so these are not heavy filled hearts -- theyre more like lightly filled satin shapes with a clean border, almost like a hand-drawn scatter of hearts. Wilcom set the underlay light on purpose so the whole thing reads airy rather than stiff.

Six sizes from 1.98 inches wide up to 5.95 inches wide, stitch counts from 3050 up to 15265. Thats a genuinely useful range. The 2-inch version is tiny enough for a collar corner, a mug rug edge, or a bookmark. The 6-inch version works as a full tote front panel. At 3050 stitches for the smallest, youre looking at under 8 minutes on a fast machine. Pop a tearaway on woven cottons and a soft cutaway on knit fabrics -- the satin fill isnt dense enough to need anything heavy.

I sell a lot of this one in the weeks before february. One customer this year ordered 3 sizes at once -- she runs a small embroidered-gifts business and wanted the cluster at different scales for different items. That approach makes a alot of sense for a design this versatile.

Best on white or cream cotton for the clearest read of all 3 colours. Pick thread in red, pink, and either coral or burgundy. Add directional satin variation by swapping the darkest colour for navy or olive if you want it year-round and not just seasonal.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Collar corners and small fabric patchesStitch the 2-inch at a collar corner of a white linen shirt -- tearaway stabiliser, very quick to run.
  • Mug rugs and coaster setsA set of mug rugs with the 3-inch cluster in 3 colour combos sells well as a matching set.
  • Valentine's Day gift pouchesThe 4-inch on a cotton gift pouch front is perfect for wrapping a small valentine present.
  • White cotton tote bag frontsRun the 6-inch on a cream tote bag for a simple but polished february shopper.
  • Baby onesies and rompersThe 2-inch fits a baby onesie snap area with a soft cutaway -- 3050 stitches is fast and gentle.
  • Gift wrapping ribbon and bookmark fabricStitch the 2-inch on wide cream ribbon for a handmade gift wrap accent strip.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
