The dandelion head is blowing apart and instead of seeds floating away youre watching a bunch of tiny hearts drift off on fine stalks. Its a lil bit whimsical, lil bit romantic, and honestly one of my favourite designs in the valentines range because it doesnt scream valentines day. The stem has a natural sketchy quality, the leaves are simple outline shapes, and the hearts up top are small enough to feel like they could actually float.
Three colour design with 5 sizes going from 3 inches wide up to 6.5 inches. Stitch counts start at 7,947 at the smallest size and reach sixteen thousand, seven hundred and seventy-seven at the largest. Density is 342 which keeps it light and delicate, matching the botanical feel of the illustration. The fine stalk lines between the stem and the floating hearts are done with a running stitch rather than satin so they read as genuinely thin without raising up.
My daughter saw this one in my shop listing this past spring and said it was her favourite, which is funny because she usually goes for the bold graphic stuff. I think it appeals to a wider crowd than the typical hearts design, Ive sold it to gardeners, botanists and people who just prefer nature imagery to the standard valentines fare.
Tearaway works under woven cotton or linen, the stitch density is low enough to manage without cutaway on stable fabrics. Stitch it on cream, oatmeal, sage or pale blush fabric for a soft botanical colour palette. Avoid stretchy jersey for the larger sizes since the fine running stitches can pull. Pick a slow to medium machine speed for the delicate heart details.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
