Single colour, whole design, heart filled solid and an arrow running through it at a diagonal angle. The arrow enters from the bottom left side of the heart and the tip comes out the upper right, so its going upward through the heart mass. The fletching tail has the little feather vanes fanning out, and the arrowhead at the front is a classic pointed shape. Theres no second colour here, everything stitches in the same thread, so the design relies on directional stitching angle contrast to separate the piercing line from the heart fill behind it. It actually looks cleaner than youd think for a single colour piece.

Five sizes from 3.5 inches at 6,256 stitches up to 7.5 inches at 14,777 stitches. The nearly square format means it sits well on shirt chest placements and pillow centres. Last March I had a bunch of orders for Valentines gifts on red hoodies. Customers kept asking for it specifically because they wanted the classic Cupid look without the cheesy cartoon style, and this ones clean enough to work on adult clothing. Density is 264, moderate, good thread coverage without feeling heavy.

Tearaway stabiliser works fine on woven cotton and linen at this density. Go with a cutaway on stretchy jersey if you want crisp line edges. Choose a thread colour with good contrast against the base fabric since single colour designs live or die by that. Avoid very dark fabrics if youre using deep red thread, you wont see the fletching detail clearly.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
