This one's got the paw sitting on the right side of the heart rather than tucked inside it. The paw rests on the outer curve, kinda just clinging to the edge, which gives it a looser more casual feel than the versions where everything's contained inside. Theres no fill, just red satin stitches tracing the heart outline and paw shapes together. Single colour, 1 thread all the way through.

Comes in 3 sizes from 1.89 to 3.39 inches wide, with stitch counts of 2054 at the smallest and 4152 at the largest. Wilcom set up the satin paths, so the heart curves stays consistent density and the paw outlines dont pull on thin cotton. Layer a soft cutaway under cotton or linen before you hoop and the whole thing'll run flat without puckering.

One customer this christmas ordered the 3.39-inch version for a pet memorial cushion she's customising for her sister and said the asymmetric paw placement was exactly what she needed for the personalised text she's adding below the heart. The composition leaves space below the combined shape for a name or short phrase. Reach out if the download link gives you trouble and I'll sort it fast.

Use it on personalised pet cushions, tote bags for dog walking, apron front panels, or canvas journal covers. Run a light water-soluble topping over textured fabric before stitching so the toe bean ovals on the paw stay rounded and dont flatten into the fibres.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Pet memorial cushion with name below the heartThe 3.39-inch size leaves enough vertical space below for a 2-line name and date in a thin script font.
  • Dog walking tote bag front pocket designUse the 3-inch version on natural canvas with medium cutaway backing for a clean flat finish on the tote.
  • Cotton apron bib panel for pet groomersStitch the 2-inch version on the chest panel of a denim apron in contrasting white thread for a stylish look.
  • Canvas journal cover for pet care notesWorks well on a stretched canvas journal cover at 3 inches, gives the cover a handmade feel.
  • Child's backpack patch in school coloursThe 1.89-inch version fits most backpack patch blanks without bleeding off the edges.
  • Small personalised keyring on feltCut a 2.5-inch felt circle, stitch the smallest size, add a key ring loop and its a quick gift.
  • valentines day card holder front panelThe small 1.89-inch on card-weight stabilised felt makes a rigid front panel for a mini envelope holder.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
